Well, my friends, it has been one hell of a semester. We have sure been through a lot, I think! Don't worry, this post isn't going to be heavy on the cheese... I'm just saying I am relieved and I just was thinking about what I've learned this year/semester, both academically and personally. (I can hear a certain someone groaning). [:
In fact, I should almost like to either update this blog, or possibly create a new one for my trip to China this summer. I have examined the itinerary and it sounds truly incredible, and there are some things on there that I never dreamed I would be doing. After all of the talking we have done about travel narratives and the like in class (I know everyone found Mandeville a little less than enthralling but as usual I thought it was totally cool), I think it would be neat to apply my HUST experiences and the very nature of the major to my own doings. That raises the questions I have seen discussed on other blogs of my fellow husties and in class about the level of personal things shared through various portals like the written sonnet from a book or the technological status on the Twitter of the Interwebz. Maybe no one cares? Maybe you all care deeply? Who knows. I hope everything turns out alright in the end.
Don't forget that we still need to order those sweatshirts!
